Update your coffee preferences and see the change in your next subscription details

September 4, 2026 · Editorial Team

Change the coffee you get without starting over

If your coffee tastes have changed, you do not need to dig through old messages or wait for the next shipment to find out what you picked. As a signed-in Roastlet member, you can update the details that shape your subscription: brew method, roast preference, growing regions, flavor preferences, and delivery rhythm.

That matters when you want your coffee to match how you actually drink it now. Maybe you used to brew one way and want to switch. Maybe you want lighter roasts, a different set of regions, or flavors that fit your morning routine better. You can make those changes in your account and keep your subscription aligned with them.

Make the change in your account

Start from your signed-in account and open your subscription details. From there, update the parts of your coffee profile that matter to you.

You can change:

  • brew method
  • roast preference
  • growing regions
  • flavor preferences
  • delivery rhythm

Once you save, your current subscription details refresh right away. You do not have to wonder whether the change stuck or wait for the next box to check.

What it looks like when it works

A simple example: you want coffee for a different brew method, and you want to shift toward a different roast preference at the same time. You update both settings, save them, and then look back at your subscription summary.

What you should see is the new coffee details you just chose, shown immediately in the current subscription details. That makes it easier to confirm what your next coffee is set up to match. If you changed your delivery rhythm too, you can see that reflected there as well.

This is useful because the subscription summary becomes a quick check, not a place where you have to remember what you last saved somewhere else.

What to watch for before you save

Only signed-in members can make these changes from their account.

Before you save, check the details you’re changing one by one. Brew method, roast preference, growing regions, flavor preferences, and delivery rhythm each affect what kind of coffee fits your box and when it arrives. If you want several changes, make sure each one matches what you actually want before you confirm them.

After you save, look at the current subscription details right away. If the summary shows the choices you just made, you know your profile was saved and your subscription is set to use them.

A good first move if you want better fit

If you already know one thing is off — maybe the roast is darker than you like, or the coffee does not match your brew method — start there. Change that one detail first, then review the summary to make sure it reads the way you expect.

From there, you can adjust the rest of your preferences as needed. The point is to let your account reflect how you want to drink coffee now, and to show that update where you can see it right away.
