Restart your coffee subscription after you cancel

September 9, 2026 · Editorial Team

If you changed your mind, you don’t have to start from scratch

Sometimes you cancel a coffee subscription because you’re traveling, cutting back, or just not drinking as much for a while. Then your routine changes again, and you want the same coffee back without rebuilding everything.

After you cancel a Roastlet subscription, you can go to Billing and restart it from there. Your saved coffee preferences and delivery rhythm stay with the subscription, so you can pick back up with the setup you already had.

What to do

Sign in and open Billing.

If your subscription was cancelled, you’ll see the option to restart it. Choose that, and your saved subscription settings are used again. That includes the coffee you had chosen and how often it was set to arrive.

If your subscription is active again, you can check the confirmation that it’s on and see the next renewal when that information is available.

What this saves you from

Without a restart option, a cancelled subscription usually turns into a fresh setup job. You have to remember what you were getting, decide whether to keep the same timing, and fill in the same choices again.

That is the part this avoids. If your last setup still fits, you can bring it back instead of rebuilding it. If you only wanted a break, you do not have to treat the whole subscription like a new order.

What it looks like when it works

Say you cancelled because you had too much coffee at home. A few weeks later, you run out and want deliveries again.

You sign in, open Billing, and restart the cancelled subscription. Your former preferences are still there, so you do not need to reselect the coffee you were getting. The delivery rhythm comes back with it, so the next boxes follow the same pace you used before.

After that, you can check that the subscription is active again and, when available, see when the next renewal will happen. That gives you a quick way to confirm that the restart took.

What to check before you restart

Make sure you actually want the old setup back. Restarting is useful when your previous coffee and schedule still work for you.

If you meant to change what you get or how often it arrives, restart first and then update the subscription after it’s active again. If you only want coffee for a short stretch, you may still prefer to restart later rather than keep a subscription running when you won’t use it.

If you’re ready to pick up where you left off, Billing is where to do it.
